Flood

      Flood is now part of our daily lives? Due to unresolved problems on why or what causes floods. We now are used to this phenomenon. Decades ago " flood " is a event that occur seasonally in habagat season. Now it can occur even just an hour rain and technology advances, it also has its evolution from knee high to above person water.  

            Since it started to occur, many solutions has been formulated to solve or eliminate this ancient problem. Some made a simple drainage system for the water to flow freely in most rural place and urbanized communities are state of the art water system. Even if these so called answer is realized it always and will comes back because of the root of all this, which is " self discipline. " We may develop new ways to prevent this from happening but one thing is for sure that if the people won't follow the proper ways of treating our environment. The occurrence of flood is inevitable. No matter how much effort is rendered or innovative ways we create, there is no solution  to a problem when its source is also the cause.

            We must  not let this be part of our daily routine nor our culture  as Filipino. The answer is " be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. "
